Difficult times also present opportunities for companies: Shop Online

Despite the circumstances and uncertainty surrounding the fashion industry, the time is ripe to accelerate a transformation that customers demand and can become an opportunity to reconnect with consumers who, year after year, had been marginalising fashion in their budgets and preferences.


Fashion had spent several years prior to COVID-19, in which consumers had decided to spend less and less money on buying fashion products and more on other activities such as leisure, travel, electronics, telephony and computing, etc.


As in many other areas of the economy and society, a crisis such as the one we have just gone through worldwide, due to Covid-19, has brought about changes that only occur in a state of war.


We have learned to hold telematic meetings, to use, in our daily lives, digital tools that we were previously reluctant to use, and, of course, to buy absolutely everything online in online stores.


Consumers have lost their fear, companies have had to do more gymnastics than ever to adapt to changes in demand. And it has been proven that in the worst circumstances transformative ideas emerge that in good times do not find the same opportunities to flourish, and there are also the conditions to be more creative and sustainable than ever.


We must take advantage of the pull and create excitement in the consumer's purchasing process and maintain the great leap in online shopping in Spain.
